The flexiFEDSavvy Online Application Form for individual members is now ready

We’ve concluded developing a dedicated online application form for brokers who write direct business and are looking to sign up individual members to flexiFEDSavvy (i.e. members who are NOT part of an employer group).

As you know by now, flexiFEDSavvy is Fedhealth’s affordable hospital plan aimed at the digital generationunder-35’s who are healthy, single and looking for an option with which to enter the medical aid market.

Since this option is only fulfilled via digital platforms, the new flexiFEDSavvy Online Application Form has been simplified to provide a smooth user experience for this younger audience whilst still ensuring compliance.


Please note that if you write direct business campaigns and want new clients to complete the flexiFEDSavvy application process from their end, you can contact your Broker Consultant for access to a link to use on your own website or marketing platforms. All other Fedhealth applications should still be submitted via the Broker Portal – the flexiFEDSavvy Online Application Form does not replace the general broker online application form in the Portal.

IMPORTANT: We’d like to emphasise the importance of recommending the flexiFEDSavvy option to the right membership demographic of young, healthy, digitally adept people under 35. While it’s low contribution rates might make it attractive for many, it’s NOT intended for members who are foreseeing planned hospital procedures like knee replacements, planning a baby, or have serious chronic conditions, for example.
