Have you ever wondered why you are stuck in a job that you don’t enjoy? Or maybe, why you’re in an unfulfilling relationship? Why do you have so many challenges throughout your life, and are, well … just not happy?
It may sound a bit tough to hear, but what if we tell you that you are responsible for all of it?! I know, I know, you’re probably thinking that it’s a tooty-fruity, overly simplistic way of referring to your challenges BUT, turns out, science begs to differ!
Consider this, what if you really are responsible for all the bad things in your life? What if all the “I’m not good enough” thoughts, or the “I’ll never be successful” and “This day sucks”, all bring exactly what you ask for?
Scientists like Dr. Joe Dispenza, D.C., claim that your mind can change your reality. Researchers agree that when we truly change our minds, there is physical evidence of change in the brain which empowers all human beings to create the reality they choose. Dr. Dispenza comments that according to neuro science, “Whatever you mentally attend to, without any doubt, is what you are and will become.” The brain is not static, rigid and fixed; brain cells are constantly remoulded and reorganized by our thoughts and experiences.
Still not convinced? Ok, so imagine biting into a lemon … are you salivating? Your thoughts had the power to do this! By vividly imagining positive, happy scenarios, you can change your THOUGHTS, your MOOD, your OUTLOOK, and your BEHAVIOUR.
Powerful stuff! Fact is, the way you think about yourself turns into your reality and by drawing inaccurate conclusions about who you are and what you’re capable of, limits your potential. Yes, your thoughts are a catalyst for self-perpetuating cycles. So, if you think you’re unhappy, you feel unhappy and act unhappy, which reinforces your belief that you must be unhappy!
The good news is that you can change your thinking. As Dr. Wayne Dyer says: “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
So, use the immense power of thought to change your world. Become aware of negative thoughts and question their validity; challenge your conclusions about yourself. Remind yourself that you don’t have to allow those beliefs to restrict your potential. Look for evidence to the contrary and take note of times when your beliefs weren’t true. Savour the joys of your achievements.
Also, be mindful of the thoughts that you generate, feed your mind with positivity and welcome only those into your life that share your values and love you for who you are.
Your choice of thoughts can change your reality. So, if everything starts with a thought, why not change your frequency to a level where things happen the way you actually want them to happen. Reprogram your subconscious mind, deactivate the programs that lead to unhappiness and replace them with positivity #ChooseHappy!
