When should your employees contact Fedhealth if they experience an emergency?

Members must contact us within two working days if it was an emergency.
In an emergency, your employees must get an authorisation number from us within two working days after going to hospital. If they don’t, they will have to pay a penalty of R1 000.
If they cannot contact the Authorisation Centre themselves, then their doctor or a family member or the hospital can contact us on their behalf.
