Health Rewards by Sanlam is hosted on the Fedhealth Member App, making it easily accessible to all members.
Launched in March 2025, if offers members:
- Weekly wellness rewards. Fun, weekly quizzes that motivate members to pursue their health goals. Every completed quiz unlocks a spin on the virtual wheel, giving them a chance to win vouchers.
- Annual health rewards. By completing four important activities – a health assessment, a mental health survey, a smoking pledge and a lifestyle survey – members earn a guaranteed R400 voucher.
- Always-on benefits. Once a member has registered for Health Rewards, they enjoy continuous access to discounts on entertainment, travel and gym memberships from our partners, which include some of South Africa’s most loved brands.
But Sanlam Health Rewards is not just about delighting our members. It also drives key benefits for the Scheme itself:
- The average age of actively engaging members is 39, showing that the initiative is attracting younger, digitally
engaged individuals. - In fact, 60% of participants are between 18 and 39 years old – the very demographic schemes everywhere are trying hardest to reach.
