Here is a brief explanation of how to obtain your chronic medication depending on your Fedhealth option, and how to go about getting your medication delivered by the three courier pharmacies Clicks Direct Medicine, Dis-Chem Direct and Pharmacy Direct.
Please note: Medicine for HIV and AIDS must be obtained from Pharmacy Direct otherwise a 40% co-payment will apply.
On myFED and flexiFEDSavvy, you must obtain chronic medicine from one of the Scheme’s Designated Service Providers. If you fail to do so, you will have to pay a 25% co-payment. Fedhealth’s Designated Service Providers on these options are Clicks Courier, Dis-Chem Courier and Pharmacy Direct.
